Artist's Description
Every year in the second half of April, a historical reenactment event takes place at Altamura. A large number of people, all dressed in period costume, parade in the historical city centre to celebrate the foundation of the city in the middle age by Frederick II. From here the name of the event: Federicus (the latin name of the Emperor).
